Our Story
& Our Vision

In the 1930’s, the city of Nampa was expanding to its south, and the world was filled with economic, cultural, and geopolitical uncertainty. During this time, a group of people started a church to provide community, hope, and a place of flourishing for those in Nampa.

Located adjacent to Northwest Nazarene University (College throughout the 20th Century), the church sought to equip its members to bring community, hope, and flourishing wherever they went – across town, throughout the country, or around the world.

Nampa College Church continues to be a place of community, hope, and flourishing for our community; as well as a place of equipping individuals to carry that same spirit wherever they go.

Nampa College Church is a part of the Church of the Nazarene, which from its origin has maintained a deep love and compassion for those who are hurting or broken in our midst. Today, the Church of the Nazarene stretches around the globe and continues to bring community, hope, and flourishing through the love of Christ to those who need it most.
